got fish curry, excellent flavor (strong but not too strong), fish came in these pieces - would have preferred better quality fish (taste+texture) but overall very good, portion size meant that with rice it was something like a meal and a half maybe more

Everything I've ever gotten there has been terrific. Wonderful food. Not a room in which I'd like to eat, but takeaway is grand.

I was walking around the Angeles National Park most of the day with my wife and my father, and we worked up a strong hunger. My father told me that there is a (hole in the wall) Indian restaurant at the truck stop with excellent cuisine, a small shop of Indian ingredients and keepsakes, as well as music and hospitable hosts. I ate the Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan and a Mango Yogurt Drink. Two bites in, I said, " I could eat this every day!" I highly recommend this establishment. It has been my experience, in many places in the world, That small-business restaurants such as this, referred to as Hole-in-the-wall, tend to be the most authentic, best tasting, and friendliest places you may find yourself.

Pretty solid, Indian food spot, if you have a hankering for some delicious and flavorful options. We opted to get takeout, and so this review is based on that experience. And there were a variety of options, and we ended up choosing veggie korma, prawn biryani, curry lamb, and chicken vindaloo. I asked for the curry lamb to be very spicy. Oh, and can't forget the garlic naan for sure. Our order arrived in pretty good timing... We did not have to wait long for it at all. The food was warm and smell delicious. Have my mouth watering to just eat it all. The prawn biryani looked amazing and taste it just as amazing, and so did the veggie korma. The chicken vindaloo was nice and flavorful, and the garlic naan just really was the icing on the cake. The lamb dish was also flavorful from what my partner has told me since I don't eat lamb. Overall, every dish we had was really delicious. However, my only gripe is that all the food came pretty spicy. I am not an honest, Indian food, and I am very well aware of the scale of spiciness. However, I think our order just got mixed up. I asked specifically for the lamb curry to be very very spicy, and I did not indicate that level of space for any of the other dishes. However, it appears that the lamb dish was the one that was flavorful, but no spice, and every other dish was extremely spicy. I called the restaurant to try and clarify, however, I don't think they understood what I was saying, and I think they thought I was new to Indian food because they brought up on multiple occasions that Indian food is just spicy. Well, of course it is, but there is still a spice level associated with that, and the spice level for dishes was a bit off. Other than that slight inconvenience, everything was really delicious and flavorful, and I would probably come and get takeout or even eat in the restaurant here the next time.
